what? no medical emergencies to report today?
Ever wiped your ass and some how end up with a palm full of shit? I'm not alone in that am I? That was my yesterday, but today is looking up ...
Ok, no, it's not, but damn it, at least work will be over for the week in a little over 7 1/2 hours! Plus no one else has been admitted to the hospital for over 24 hours! M's mom is still in, and youngest son might be moved to a bigger hospital because they don't know what he has and how to cure it. It's some intestinal gastro infection, or as his older brother (middle child of M's) called it ... a "butt bug."
While I think it's great that there are doctors who treat such aliments, the thought that of all the specialties there are in the medical field, they thought "hey, wouldn't it be awesome to work up people's asses!?!?" When they finally made it to where they are grown up doctors and doing it all on their own (vs. interns?) did they rub their hands together and give a "woo hoo" for being on their own with a puckered hole?
Gyno I can understand ... whole birthing thing ... feet ... no ... no way ... but I think some choices I will never understand and honestly, I don't need a reason. Glad someone is doing it, and I hope I don't have to see anyone in that profession anytime soon!
