update and off to hunt for my sanity
Well kiddos, how about an update. Know how I said I was tired yesterday? Today is worse. M got a call at 10:30 that his youngest was in a different hospital, was throwing up, having diarrhea, and was starting to have blood in his stool. Why yes, yes we did freak out. Ex promised to call when she had some news and did so at 3:30. Then they thought he had colitis. Now they are saying an infection, but they are going to have a specialist or two look at him to make sure. He’s on an iv and he’s staying the night.
M’s mom is better, but she is still having clots released from her heart so they have to do a scope. That may be done today, it may be done tomorrow….
Is there a good thing in all this? Just that it’s made me feel good knowing his sister can (and has) called me a few times to get her brain unscrambled, that when the talk about other people coming to the hospital, I’m included in the family part, not the “other” part, and some how I’m right in the middle of it all, but that’s where I’ve been placed and they’ve wanted me placed.
They say it comes in three’s, so we should be done. Middle son had the car crash and emergency room visit, then his mom, now the youngest. I’d say that is more than enough and everyone can just cut this out now!
